Distorted Michelle Obama Photo Not Removed From Google Search
The photo of Michelle Obama that can be found on Google search where she is depicted as having monkey-like features is not going to be removed. Google has said that content is not removed from it's search unless it is "content that promotes hate or violence towards groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status or sexual orientation/gender identity." Source: LA Times
Although Google won't alter the process that places the offending image among its top results, the company placed a house advertisement with the headline "Offensive Search Results" above the picture. Clicking the ad leads to a statement that says, in part, "We assure you that the views expressed by such sites are not in any way endorsed by Google."
The image is found on the blog "Hot Girls"
Google says that they are generally biased towards free speech.
So they have issed a disclaimer before you view the image but removing it is not an option now as it cimpiles with the freedom that google believes in. They fruther went on to say that Google added that it will remove pages from results if they violate the company's Webmaster Guidelines or if they are required to do so by law.
