Not Receiving Facebook Notifications

This post is to address the problem of not receiving notifications from Facebook. You may have liked a page, game, third party App or you have simply stopped receiving notifications from Facebook. The problem would be that maybe you want to keep a tab on the comments on a photo uploaded by you. No matter what the problem is you need to do the following.

1. Login to Facebook

2. Click on Account

3. Click on Account Settings

4. Click on Notifications.

Now scroll to the topic you want to receive notifications about. Beside each topic there is a checkbox. To receive notifications that box needs to be checked. if that is not the case and the box remains empty check it. You will only receive notifications if the box next the the kind of notification you want is checked.

If you still do not receive Notifications from Facebook this is what Facebook has to say.
Please make sure you have not adjusted your email notification settings from the Notifications tab of the Account page.


In addition, please check your spam/junk email filter to ensure that emails coming from Facebook have not been incorrectly placed in this folder. Be sure to add the "@facebookmail.com" email domain to your email account's safe senders list.


If you are still not receiving emails from Facebook, please contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to ensure that they are not blocking email traffic coming from Facebook.
