Swype: How does it work

Swyping is now available on Touchscreen phones. Available on the Motorola Droid X, Samsung Omnia II, Motorola i1, myTouch 3G, Motorola CliqXT, and HTC HD2 to name a few. More and more phones will eventually incorporate this technology.

So what is Swype and how does it work.

This works on Touchscreen phones. When you are typing a word you no longer need to type each letter of the word. This goes for sentences too. All you need to do is to point you finger on the first alphabet and then swype your finger to the following alphabets and then release your finger from the screen and there you have it. You word appears on the screen and start by typing your next word in the sentence without hitting the space bar. The technology recognizes that once you finish a word a space is entered automatically. Texting will never be the same again, also it becomes much faster. All you need to do is to keep swyping your fingers across the screen to  text your and reply to your friends.

Swype reinvents typing on touch-screen phones. To learn more about Swype please head on over to their homepage

Swype seems to be the next big crazy in Mobile Computing technology. Will this be the next big thing in touch-screen phones?. Think of how fast people can now type. Typing at the speed of thought. Say goodbye to Tap-Tap-Tap and say hellow to Swype.

Take a look at the video below to see and learn more about how Swype works.
