Big Tech's Day of Reckoning: What the Meta and Google Verdicts Really Mean

In the span of just 48 hours this week, two separate juries in two different US states delivered verdicts that could reshape the entire social media industry — not because of the dollar amounts involved, but because of what those verdicts legally establish for the first time. On Tuesday, March 24, a jury in Santa Fe, New Mexico ordered Meta to pay $375 million for failing to protect children from sexual exploitation on Facebook and Instagram. Less than 24 hours later, on Wednesday, March 25, a jury in Los Angeles found both Meta and Google (YouTube) liable for engineering addiction in young users — finding them negligent in the design of their platforms and awarding a further $6 million in damages. FarmVille Storage Cellars

FarmVille storage cellars are now available to all farmers. You have to be at least at level 16 though. 




Storage Cellar




  • Storage Space: 500 items. Collective Storage from all storage buildings is 500, meaning if you already have 200 items stored, you can store 300 more items.


  • Level Requirement: Level 16 farmers and above


  • Cost: Everyone will receive 1 free Storage Cellar in your Gift Box or  purchased for  10,000 Coins.


  • You may only have ONE Storage Cellar per farm.


  • You cannot store other Storage Buildings inside your Storage Cellar. 

  • Once you place the Storage Cellar on your farm you cannot sell or delete it!


The Storage Cellars will require a building process that requires the help of your FarmVille neighbors. The Storage Cellar building will work similarly to other FarmVille events such as Spring Eggs and the most recent Tuscan Wedding Event, in that after you collect a certain amount of materials, in this case Shovels, you can redeem for exclusive prizes! (See prize spoilers below).

Start by placing your Cellar on your farm and begin by “Looking Inside” to view your progress, your friends’ progress, and to also view your inventory or “Ask for More”.

Shovels

You will need to collect Shovels to increase your Storage Cellar’s capacity.

  • Each Shovel will count as one Storage space in your Storage Cellar.

You can collect Shovels the following three ways:


  1. Neighbors send you Shovels via the Free Gifts Page.

  2. “Ask for More” Button, in which you ask specific FarmVille friends for Shovels.

  3. Purchase Shovels with Farm Cash.

A Note on Storage Cellar Capacity:

Storage Cellar capacity is 500. However, FarmVille storage remains collective, meaning that 500 is the maximum for all combined storage buildings. If you chose not to use or build your Storage Cellar, your storage will automatically increase to 500. However, the Storage Cellar takes up less space on your farm, so it may be a good idea to consider using it! We all know that land and footprint space is precious in FarmVille!

Also, if you wish to utilize the Storage Cellar and transfer your other store items, then you will need to upgrade your Cellar to the maximum capacity by collecting Shovels or purchasing with farm cash directly. According to Zynga, after upgrading your Cellar to maximum capacity, deleting other storage buildings will automatically transfer them to your Storage Cellar. (Use at your own risk, not FarmVille Freak tested). You will only be able to delete a storage building (Barn, Tool Shed, etc.) and automatically transfer it if the number of items stored in your storage buildings is less than the number of Storage Cellar spaces you have available.

Storage Cellar Redeemable Prizes:

Besides using Shovels to increase the capacity of your Storage Cellar, Shovels can also be used to redeem special exclusive prizes.

Each time you collect a Shovel, you will gain a point. Points will unlock special redeemable prizes that you can “trade in”.

You can keep track of your points by accessing the “Progress” tab within your Cellar.


The following are confirmed redeemable Storage Cellar Prizes:


  • Mole – 20 Points

  • Crystal Rock – 40 Points

  • Miner Sheep – 60 Points

  • Cave Gnome – 120 Points

  • Antique Tractor – 200 Points
