If they are also online the same time as you they will also know you are currently playing the game. So if you do not want your friends to know you have been spending a lot of time playing FarmVille and CityVille just to name a few. You have a way out and keep all this info to yourself only. This ticker is a surefire way for your Facebook gaming friends to stalk you and know your whereabouts and which game you have been playing and for how long.


How to stop Facebook from displaying game activity to friends


The game ticker that appears on the right hand side each time you start playing a Facebook game. So on this ticker find where your name is mentioned and mouse over. You will get an (x) mark that appears. Click it and from the drop-down you would need to click on 'Don't publish is playing (Game name) posts. This will take care of it and you will not not be seen for that particular game on the games ticker. Repeat the same procedure for all your other games.
