What are Twitter User Galleries and how do they work

Twitter has introduced a new feature called User Galleries. This comes close on the heals of their last photo sharing feature; the ability to upload photos directly on Twitter with their own App. Up untill now uses always had to depend on third-party apps to get the job done.

The good news is that now all the photos that you upload can be viewed as a gallery. This applies only to photos you actually upload and now photos, pics and images that you Retweet. This feature also supports your favorite third-party sites and will include, TwitPic, yFrog and Instagram and all other sites as well.

So how do I view my image gallery on Twitter
1. Click on your Twitter profile page
2. Click on View All beside Recent Images

There are two views available Grid and detailed view. Grid view will show only the images while detailed view will show the entire tweet with the image.

How to remove an image
Simply delete the Tweet that contains the image and it will be removed.

All images are automatically included in the user gallery

Note: User galleries display up to 100 images per gallery. Video thumbnails are not included and so Tweets with video links are not included. Only images included after Jan 01, 2011 are included.
