If you are tired of receiving all those activity notifications from your friends on Facebook there is now a simple and easy way to do so. Activity notifications from your friends are those notifications you get concerning your friends. Every-time someone comments, updates their profile or changes their profile picture you get a notification that now shows up in your Facebook Ticker. The Ticker has become the all-new important place to keep a tab on all your friends activities on Facebook Now if you do not want to be notified each time your friends do something on Facebook you would need to do the following. By following the instructions below, you will be able to stop friend activity notifications on Facebook
1. Click on the cog icon and choose account settings
2. Click on notifications found on the left-hand bar on the screen.
3. Beside Close friends activity click on edit
4. From the drop-down choose off
5. Save and You're done.
