Facebook: How to expand photos to fullscreen and view in HD



Facebook have announced that all photos will not be viewable in the highest-resolution possible. So from now on when you checking out your friends latest vacation photos, they will be available in HD. So get ready to view photos 4 times larger than was previously possible. There is also the option to view in fullscreen. So Facebook has brought the full joy of viewing photos, especially for those who like photography and travel photos. If you are one of those shutterbugs who simply love clicking photos and sharing with your pals they can now view your photos in the highest-resolution possible and in fullscreen mode. 


How does Facebook Photo viewer work: 


1. How to upload high-resolution photos
When creating an album simply check the high-quality box and your photos will be uploaded in HD


2. How to upload photos in the highest-resolution 
When uploading your photos make sure to click the high-quality box especially if you photos are 2048 px. Photo sizes supported by Facebook 720 px, 960 px, 2048 px. Cover photos size 851 px by 315 px. You would also need to save your image as a JPEG with an sRGB color profile.


3. How to view a photos and images in fullscreen mode

You can click on a photo and then hover over it and click the fullscreen icon on the top right-hand corner of the screen. You can also select options on the bottom of the photo and the select enter fullscreen.


4. How to exit fullscreen viewer mode.
You can either click anywhere outside the photo, press the ESC key or click on the fullscreen icon on the top right-hand corner of the photo.


5. How can I see all the comments and likes when viewing in fullscreen mode
Click on the comments and likes icon at the bottom of the photo


6. How to download a photo when using fullscreen view
At the bottom of the photo click on options and then on Download. You could also right-click on the photo and use the save as option.


7. How to scroll through photos and images when in fullscreen mode

Click on the photo or the arrow marks that appear on the left and right of the photo
