PlayStation 3 gets a new YouTube app

There is an all new YouTube app available for PS3. The new app has some cool new features that every gamer will love. You can watch all your favorite YouTube videos now on the big screen follow your favorite channels and upload videos of your games. The new YouTube app for PS3 comes completely designed for PS3 controls and the big screen.

So whats new with the YouTube app for PlayStation 3

1. Search - the new app comes with search suggestions and instant video results as your type. The feature of search that you have been familiar with on your PC. With search suggestions YouTube helps you find much more easily the videos you're looking for.
2. Your Subscribed Channels - all the channels you like and follow will now be available on the app. These will include HD videos and official music videos.
3. Your phone as remote - use the quick pairing process to use your phone as a remote as you enjoy your videos on the big screen. So search for videos on your SmartPhone and with the click of a button it will play on the big screen. You can also use your phone to control the video while it's playing. 

So how to get the new YouTube app for PS3.
You can get the App at the PlayStation store and it's available under My Channel. Currently available in North America. YouTube have announced however that the app will soon be available in more countries.

Sony's LittleBigPlanet

Sony's LittleBigPlanet is the manifested embodiment of a perfect dream world. This is how they are trying to pitch this game available on PS3 or PSP. To play the game you would need to create a little sack person who will be your avatar and you can then join the game and go through multiple levels. Each week three options are shared on their FB page and users click and vote and the options that gets the most votes will be included in the game. This way Sony has ensured that their game also becomes social.

The game itself is like a joyride with users going through multiple levels and various surprises being flung at them. There are also a lot of things to collect on the way like clothes for sackboy, stickers, creative tools and lots of rewards. Kind of like Alice In Wonderland, once you complete the story mode you can then head out and play levels that have been created by players.

You can master the game and then work on your own creations and draw inspiration from the story mode. Now you can also share you creation with the rest of the world. Yes, you can share your levels and levels created by you on your favorite social sites, inviting others to join the fun.

Facebook and Twitter on Xbox 360 and PS3

So finally you'll be able to access facebook and twitter on the Xbox 360 and let your friends keep tabs of your game. Not to be left behind sony added the social networks to their playstation 3. If your not a gamer you are still going to feel the effects of it. As your gamer friends status might be updated with their game progress. Off course this feature can be switched off if you know you take really long to finish a game and don't want your friends to know.
