WordPress Plugin to remove date from Google Search Results
This is one useful plugin for WordPress Blogs that have been around for sometime. Bloggers have something called evergreen content - so content and pages that appears on Google Search results even after a few years of being published. Might still be relevant and useful. There seems to be one small problem however - users might feel the need to click on something more recent however. So how do Google Search users know what is most relevant?. The answer is very simply below each search result Google shows the date of publication.
So content that might show up even after two or three years, although still useful and relevant might get ignored by users. This seems to be one of the problems for large blogs that might have suffered from Panda and Penguin updates. Panda and Penguin are Google programs that either push a blog or website further up search results and also does the opposite. Penalizes blogs and websites bringing down their traffic by about 40%. There are a lot of blogs and websites out there that have been penalized and have suffered.
If you see the usefulness of now wanting a time stamp to appear with your page showing up on Google. There is a quick WordPress plugin to help you do just that. Once installed it will remove the date that appears alongside your indexed pages on Google search results.

How to add a paragraph in Wordpress
WordPress is the most popular and widely used blogging platform out there. That does not mean that it does not come with its little glitches and headaches. With the latest update 3.5.1 - there seems to be some known issues and one issue we faced is the loss of a line break or a new paragraph. So once the post was ready and published. it looks like one big mass of letter with no proper line spacing or paragraphs. No one wants to read an article which does not contain paragraphs. It becomes nightmare to read. These are issues that WordPress need to fix automatically but that does not seem to be happening.
The solution however is very simply but still a minor inconvenience. When writing your post, you usually hit the 'return' or 'enter' button to create a new paragraph or a line break. This is something that is done in all text writers and editors like 'Word' and 'Notepad. Something everyone is used to -- this post is for WordPress users who do not have programming skills. There are many solutions being offered online but has a little bit of coding knowledge required. If you however do not have any coding knowledge and just need to get the job done with the least amount of effort this is what you need to do. When you want to create a paragraph in WordPress hold the Shift key and hit 'Return' or the 'Enter' button and it should work just fine. You are now able to add line spacing and create a new paragraph for your WordPress posts.

Running a large WordPress blog and you want to know all your dead links and missing images. Broken Link Checker is a WordPress plugin that does just that. There are many reasons why this could be useful. You do no want to send your visitors to a site or a page that does not exist anymore. Since clicking on a link will only return a 404 error, meaning that that does not exist. It is also a dead-end route when it comes to search engines since their bits will not be bale to follow these links. If you have a large blog then too many of these links can also be bad. There are also images that you might have linked to and they maybe missing leaving your otherwise colorful page looking a bit dull and boring.
Using this plugin is a boon to blog owners because once it is installed it will start checking your whole site and this may take some time depending on the size of your blog or site. Once a broken link is found you will have the option to remove that link, remove the link but keep the text, edit URL and change the link. There is also the option to manually change a broken link to unbroken if you are sure that the link is not broken. Once installed it will show up in a new tab of the WP admin panel - Tools -> Broken Links.
