Starting today Yahoo Mail have partnered with DropBox to help you easily save your attachments directly to DropBox. This means that you don't have to download your attachments first and then save to DropBox. For users familiar with DropBox the free cloud storage software - any and all sorts of file types can be stored using the service. So all your vacation pictures, important docs like tax returns and all your whitepapers and videos can be stored directly. You can sign-in to DropBox right within Yahoo Mail and store all your files and folders in the cloud. This post will help you save Yahoo Mail Attachments directly to DropBox.
How to save Yahoo Mail attachments directly to your DropBox account.
1. Sign in to Yahoo Mail
2. Click on the attachment.
3. Click on the 'Save to DropBox' button
4. You're done
If you don not have a DropBox account as yet, you can click on 'More Options' to create a new account and name a new folder to save all your attachments.
How to share a file or folder from DropBox in Yahoo mail
1. Click on Compose.
2. Next to the paper clip icon select the drop-down button
3. Select 'Share from DropBox'. The chooser will open and you can then select files you wish to share. If the attachments is large you can simply drag and drop the file into email and click 'Send' to send from DropBox. This integration is available globally.

How to get your old Yahoo Mail back
Yahoo Mail users who have remained faithful and have not switched over to other mail services might be interested in this option. Yahoo Mail released the new version over a year ago and it is now out of Beta. Users have not been given the option to revert or to use Yahoo Mail Classic. There is however a simple trick to get your old Yahoo Mail back and use the classic version.
How to revert to Yahoo Mail Classic
1. Login to yahoo mail
2. Set your screen resolution to 800x600
3. This will cause the new Yahoo mail to not display correctly
4. You will receive a message 'Return to previous version' Click on it
5. You're done
You can now reset your screen resolution to it's previous settings and carry on with things as normal. All will work find.

How to remove applications from Yahoo Mail
If you are using the all new Yahoo Mail then you have access to a whole new set of applications provided in your Inbox. Accessing some of these applications might make you mail experience slower and you just might want to remove the application that is causing you trouble.
There is a simple two step process provided by yahoo to get rid off, remove, or delete applications.
1. Login to Yahoo mail
2. Click on the "Applications" headed as show in the image below. This is found in the left hand bottom corner of the toolbar.
4. Click on remove next to the application you no longer wish to use.
5. Your Done.
Clicking on Remove Access means that all permissions for that particular application will be removed as well.

How To import Facebook contacts to Yahoo Mail
In addition to the option of importing your contacts for Gmail and Windows Live Hotmail users on Yahoo Mail can now import their contacts from Facebook. All Yahoo services can use this feature so If you are on Yahoo Sports and would like to share something with an old high school buddy you can do that easily with your old school contacts imported from Facebook.
How to import your Facebook contacts to Yahoo Mail
Just go to the import contacts in Yahoo Mail and select Facebook. In addition to importing contacts from Facebook you can now also import contacts from other services.

Next, enter your Facebook username and password in the Facebook login window that opens.
After you click login, we will authorize your account and begin importing, which may take a minute or two depending on your Internet speed and how many Facebook friends you have.
That’s it! Your Facebook friends’ email addresses will be added to your Yahoo! Contacts. You will see which contacts and email addresses were imported and who you already had contact information for (don’t worry, we won’t create duplicates).
