Zynga launches new Facebook game Treasure Isle

Zynga made this announcement about their new game Treasure Isle

Check out our new game, Treasure Isle! Explore the exotic locales of Treasure Isle as you hunt for lost jewels and artifacts! Design a tropical oasis on your very own private island! Sail to neighboring islands and unearth buried treasure to share with friends!

Zynga just launched a new treasure hunting game. The new game is called Treasure Isle and like most of Zynga’s new games, it has YoVille’s avatars.

Here’s the official description:

“Become the most famous treasure hunter in the world! In Treasure Isle, you dig for rare and valuable treasure with your friends. Earn money, explore strange places, and decorate your very own island as you explore the world of Treasure Isle!”

The game has very relaxing theme beach music that will most probably get you carried away  and make you spend more time playing. I kept Treasure Isle running while updating YoVille Lounge and it helped me go through your stressful complaints. Maybe this is what YoVille players need, some soothing music.

Make sure to try this new game on your weekend. It looks good.

In short, Treasure Isle is about digging up treasure chests, opening them to get treasure, coins and experience points.  You then level up, gain more money, and decorate your island.  Your neighbors in the game can help you by giving you items you want: you create a wish list of items you like, and they send you the free gifts you need.  The game is reminiscent of another game on the social gaming scene, “Treasure Madness”, but has a bunch of innovative features that set it apart.

The graphics are big and fantastic, and the overhead map that shows you all the islands that are available really makes the game feel expansive, which is a lot of fun, and adds to the sense of escape in this game.  We’ll take a deeper look and full review of the game in the coming weeks, as the game goes through its first month adjustments, but so far we’re a fan.  Also, have to say that the music in this game is just as relaxing as the music in Safari Kingdom.  These social gaming composers are really hitting the mark.
